About Wood Farm Kiln Dried Firewood
Gadd Brothers start by sourcing and felling trees from sites with management plans and felling licenses to insure sustainability. We then process the timber onsite before kiln drying the logs. Kiln dried logs are considered the best firewood on the market as they produce an amazing quantity of heat and contain an average moisture content of less than 18%.
Our firewood logos are certified under the Ready to Burn scheme, a Government endorsed standard to ensure the supply of sustainable, clean burning and efficient wood fuels. Our logs are great for open fireplaces and log burners as well as garden fire pits and pizza ovens. We supply homeowners as well as pubs and restaurants.
We offer loose tip loads, barrow bags for town houses and nets of kindling all with free delivery within a 20 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds.

How to place an order with us?
To place your order, please contact the office on 01284 788794, after which you are welcome to reorder via email [email protected].
How do I make payment for my order?
Payments can be made by BACS. Payment details can be found on your invoice.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver across Suffolk and offer free delivery within a 20 radius of Bury St Edmunds. Please call the office to enquire should you be further afield.
Regular deliveries take place in and around Bury St Edmunds town centre, Newmarket, Clare, Long Melford, Sudbury, Lavenham, Hadleigh, Needham Market, and many more villages..
Is there a delivery charge or minimum order?
We do not charge for deliveries made within a 20 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds however, we do ask for a minimum order of 1 cubic meter.
Can I choose when my order arrives?
Deliveries are available Monday to Friday during our office opening hours. We will discuss delivery availability and give you an one hour timeslot on a convenient day.
How should I prepare for the delivery?
Please ensure that the driveway is clear. You may wish to lay down a ground sheet to ensure loose chippings are easy to sweep up.
Do I need to be at home during the delivery?
You are not required to be home during the delivery however, if this is the case please make it known at the time placing your order so that we can discuss where the logs are to be tipped.
