This week we hear from Rob Fuller who is a Skilled Landscaper. Rob joined the team last year and has already worked on several different projects. Leading a team on a project takes passion, motivation and lots of organisation!
What do you love about the landscaping industry?
Seeing the end results! It’s amazing how you can take something so bare and baron and transform it into a paradise!
What does a typical day at work look like for you when running a project?
Organised chaos if I’m honest! Between dealing with deliveries, making sure all the guys have what they need for their tasks alongside doing my own. No day is ever the same.
Favourite project you’ve worked on so far at Gadd Brothers and why?
The relocation of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Boodles Raindance Garden to its forever home at Old Buckenham Hall School. It was actually my first project when I joined Gadd Brothers, and it was a privilege to be involved!
What’s one thing that makes a good workday great?
Sunshine! It motivates the whole squad without fail.
What advice would you give someone just starting out in the industry?
Get stuck in and give it 110%! That will pay more than just money!
Besides landscaping, what are you most passionate about?
I’m a petrol head through and through- motorbikes and fast cars.
Tell us one thing on your bucket list.
Snowboarding! I’ve always wanted to go and this is the year!
